Shelley Valerio received her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance and Thematic Sequence in Child Psychology from Miami University. She began playing the harp at age six and has been a member of a church choir and professional orchestra and chamber ensembles. She attended the Brevard Music Center for two summers. Shelley also has experience as a toddler teacher, private instructor of harp for all ages and after-school teacher. She also worked as Assistant Director at an accredited preschool with ages 0-12. Shelley received a full tuition scholarship to Miami University, as well as an Orchestra Award and is a member of the American Harp Society. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, playing the guitar, reading, drawing, sewing and playing outside with her daughter.
