Casey Dugan is a 3rd generation Teacher, following in the footsteps of her grandmother and mother.  Classically trained in piano by her mother from a young age, Casey went on to learn flute and guitar. She was Valedictorian of her High School class, then earned her Bachelors Degree from Indiana University, studying History with Minor studies in music, drama, and communications.  She later picked up ukulele while living in Hawaii, where she taught music at a private Academy as well as initiating a Music Club at the local elementary school where the Music Program had been eliminated due to budget cuts.  Casey has a range of musical teaching and performance experiences in many different settings. In addition to being a Kidstunes instructor, she currently works part-time in her church preschool and teaches classes at the YMCA. She also offers private lessons on piano, guitar, ukulele and flute. She loves children and their propensity for learning and experiencing all aspects of music -- rhythm, melody, harmony and the joyous expression of life! Casey is also a songwriter with a number of independent label cuts.  She is currently collaborating on a CD of children's songs for a publisher in Los Angeles.
